Hi Elliott,
I finally got around to ordering the RetroRoadTrips DVD & CD today and am looking forward to having some new locations to try and identify (that said, I've not been particularly active in following up on some of the other more difficult ones!). I had a trip to the US in October to visit relatives - not too much RD activity but we did go to The Mall in Washington DC so revisited a few scenes from RD Programme 3. I hope the funds are still coming in at a steady rate to enable you to complete Codachrome. If I win the lottery any time soon, I'll be in touch!
Regards,
Steve Mainwaring.

Hello Elliott
I’ve just received the Retro Road Trips DVD and soundtrack which I have watched with great pleasure. I have, in the last 20 years, had occasion to say to people – when the situation demanded it – that the best thing I’ve ever seen on television was a series of super 8 films of a road trip in the USA. Your Road Dreams films. I realise from various internet sites that I am far from alone in this view, which makes me happy.
I especially like the clips with instrumental music by Rik Loveridge, and of course the Kerouac readings. I’ve also managed to download the two short clips that are on You Tube from the original series – I hope you don’t mind!
Like Road Dreams, Plan # 73 seems to be continuing the essential element of the series, which, to me, is saying ‘look at this’ about the simplicity, spontaneity, beauty, and the depth, and the poignancy of the every day. Something that a traveller sees more clearly, perhaps. I can think of no better thing for an artist to do.
Thank you for this.
