1. Retro Road Trips DVD

There are 14 films on this DVD - 13 short films and one of 26 mins (77 minutes total). The 13 short films use the Road Dreams library. For those of you who know the original television series, please be aware that this collection of shorts doesn't set out to replace the original series. Consider them a collection of short stories compared to the full length novel Codachrome - a time of road dreams, which is in production as a feature length DVD and which is intended to be the replacement for the Road Dreams television series. This should be ready by summer 2009. Film #14 (at 26') is Plan #73, and uses footage shot while driving a 3 ton van around Europe in the '80s.

The package contains: the DVD; a Data CD of the same films encoded for iPhone or iPod touch use, or viewing on a computer; a booklet containing Road Dreams anecdotes; a sheet of track listings and technical notes; plus two Road Dreams buttons.

The DVD is in the PAL format and is Region 0. It isn't suitable for American (NTSC) DVD players. See #4 - the iPhone Data CD, for an NTSC alternative.

2. Soundtrack CD

There are 13 tracks of original music from Rik Loveridge and François Godefroy, who both contributed to the earlier Road Dreams soundtrack, while Harriet Downing makes her debut. A total of 27 tracks of music have been produced in all, with the remainder to be released with Codachrome - a time of road dreams. 3. DVD + Soundtrack CD

These two items can be purchased together at a discount of £1.50 off the combined price of £21.94.

4. iPhone Data CD + Road Dreams Booklet

As outlined in the DVD column, this is the same content as the DVD but encoded to play on an iPhone or iPod touch, or a computer. The encodes are of 2 Pass VBR quality and do look good on a small screen. It does require that the computer has QuickTime 7 installed. QuickTime 7 is available as a free download from Apple for both Apple and Windows computers. Please note: this same disc is already included in the DVD package.

The iPhone Data CD is suggested as an alternative for American viewers due to the current lack of an NTSC DVD.

These two items can be purchased together at a £1 discount off the combined price of £14.98.

Wear your t shirt with pride? - or just possibly be the messenger carrying that shock of recognition. During its Channel 4 screenings, Road Dreams was getting viewing figures of 500,000 a show. And, it seems, there are quite a few people who over the years have wondered what became of the series. Two Road Dreams badges

In the same vein as the t shirt, though a bit more discreet. You get two free badges with every purchase, one 1½ inch / 38mm and one 1 inch / 25mm.

Frame Grab Prints

The total tally of Road Dreams frame grabs is somewhat overwhelming - 22hrs x 60 minutes x 60 seconds x 24fps. A bit more than any one person could inspect. But there are some obvious choices - one is shown here as an example. At a later date the plan is to offer a series of 15 or so canvas paper prints, A4 size.

Postage, Delivery and Refunds

The postage costs are displayed in the shopping cart and vary according to destination. In the UK we use Royal Mail First Class Post. For further afield we use standard Air Mail. Average delivery times are: UK - within 3 days of dispatch: Europe - within 4/5 days: Rest of World - more variable, but 6/7 days is likely. All items are guaranteed to be brand new.
